She is the founding member and Secretary of Society of Indoor Environment, a policy thinktank for issues related to indoor environmental quality. She is an Assistant Professor at University of Delhi, India and has relevant academia and industry experience of more than 2 decades in the field of indoor air quality management (IAQM). Her core domain of work has been concentrated on primary and secondary research on Indoor Air Quality and its exposure assessment. She has been on the editorial board of prominent international journals, Journal of Health and Pollution, Sustainability in Environment, Air Quality, Atmosphere and Health, Environmental Research, to name a few. She has been the Editor for SIE quarterly newsletter “THE INDOORS “since 2019. She has the experience of working in European Union Project “HEALTHVENT” and has to her credit more than 30 publications in refereed international journals, articles, conference papers and books chapters. She is a visiting faculty at International Centre for Environmental Audit and Sustainable Development for capacity building of IAAS officers on issues related to environment and sustainable development in India. She has also worked with policymakers in India regarding formulation and scoping of IAQ guidelines in India .She was the part of organizing committee team which successfully organized the Asian Conference on Indoor Air Quality (ACIEQ 2019 and ACIEQ 2023) in New Delhi She is also spearheading IAQ monitoring and audit projects across India with established institutions.
