Dr. Namrata Jariwala

Namrata Jariwala is working as Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering Department at S. V. National Institute of Technology, Surat. She is having 23 years of teaching experience. She has obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from M S University, Vadodara in June 1996. She was awarded gold medal for securing highest marks. She obtained Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering also from M S University, Vadodara in 1998. She has obtained Ph. D. from S. V. National Institute of Technology, Surat.

She has presented many papers in national and international conferences at USA, Italy and London. She has published 25 papers in International journals.She has guided 5 ph D students and 30 M Tech students. She has wide experience of development of laboratories in the field of Environmental Engineering. Apart from her academic career she has handled various consultancy projects of Surat Municipal Corporation and of other local Govt. bodies in the area of water and waste water treatment, and solid waste management.

She is the coordinator of Environmental audit cell for schedule I industries at SVNIT for year 2021-22.Her area of research is Health and risk studies in Environmental Engineering, Air pollution related studies, indoor air quality, Soft computing techniques in Env. Engg. and fuzzy logic and its application.
